From The TV IV
Richard Matheson is a writer best known for his science fiction novel I Am Legend about the last man on an Earth infested with vampires, which was an inspiration for George A. Romero in creating the zombie genre. He also wrote often for television series and made-for-TV movies, particularly on Rod Serling's The Twilight Zone.
