The episode Dimension Jump introduces the unforgettable Ace Rimmer. Commander Ace Rimmer is a parallel universe counterpart to our pathetic Rimmer. He is a dashing Space Corps test pilot, and a modern renaissance man. He gets along with everyone, he genuinely cares about other people, and everyone thinks he's great. He is an outstanding person and an exceptionally amusing alter ego to Arnold Rimmer.
