Happenings
Reba, Brock, Cheyenne, Kyra and Jake are in therapy after a "brawl" that broke out during a family court hearing. During their session, Brock tells Reba that he and his dental hygienist/mistress Barbara Jean are getting married because she is now pregnant. In the shock of the news, Jake lets slip that Cheyenne is also pregnant, having found her discarded test.
Reba and Brock then talk to Cheyenne and her cornerback boyfriend Van back at home to discuss what their options are. That night, Van sneaks into Cheyenne's room, and when discovered by Reba, reveals that his parents have disowned him for wanting to stick around and support Cheyenne and the baby. He then proposes to Cheyenne in her room, much to Reba's chagrin.
At Brock's dental practice, Reba discusses wedding plans with Brock and Barbara Jean, who feel uneasy about the idea. She tells them to bring ice to the reception. Meanwhile Cheyenne buys her own wedding dress, putting Reba's hope for her to wear her old wedding dress to the wayside.
Wedding day approaches, and Reba is rushed off her feet waiting for Brock, cooking food, and keeping her kids under control. Brock (and B.J.) do arrive, ice in tow, to support Cheyenne. But there may not be a wedding--Cheyenne and Van argue over his plans to play football later that day. A fight ensues, causing BJ to fall into the cake and Reba to snap at Brock for ruining her life.
She runs upstairs to calm herself and Cheyenne down. There, she vows to be strong and to get Cheyenne and the rest of the family through this tough time. The wedding goes ahead as planned--with Reba's dress being used after all, Van promising to use condoms on the honeymoon, and B.J. butting in to the wedding photo.

Trivia
The Show
- Before Reba's involvement in the series, the title of the program had been once known as "Deep in the Heart" and "Sally." Two versions of the pilot were recorded; one with Reba's character name left intact, the other replacing 'Reba' with 'Sally.'
Behind the Scenes
The Hart household used in the pilot was actually the set of The Hughleys, redressed and decorated for this episode only. Once the order came down for a full season, a different set was built.
