Basic Information
Canadian. Chief Scientist of NorBAC and a Molecular Biologist.
Character History
Has a 15-year old daughter (Season 1), Lilith, from his first marriage. In Season 4 it is revealed that Mayko Tran, had his child before joining NorBAC, a daughter, which she gave up for adoption. David knew nothing about this until it was revealed that the girl, who was 6-years-old at the time, Hannah, was sick and needed a bone marrow transplant. Was responsible for the return of the Spanish Flu in Season 1 and the end of Season 4 as seen as glimpsed into the future. Mother, Lydia Sandström died during Season 2. Father, Tomous Sandström died, committed suicide, within the months between Seasons 2 and 3. Went to Rehab at the beginning of Season 3 for Alcohol addiction.
