Quantum Leap: A Bold Leap Forward was a proposed sequel series to the original Quantum Leap for the Sci Fi Channel. A pilot script was written by Trey Callaway in 2003, but the network ultimately passed.
The show would be focused on Sammy Jo Fuller (now going by Samantha), the daughter conceived by Sam Beckett during the final season's "Trilogy" episodes. Being a member of Project Quantum Leap, she would take up the reigns of leaping in order to bring her father back, who had been lost for 20 years. Al Calavicci would have also been a part of the series.
