- Jaws 2: The sequence that ends with Connor almost shooting the costumed park director mirrors one from the 1978 horror thriller Jaws 2. In the movie, Sheriff Brody is on a guard tower at the beach when he sees a suspicious shadow in the water. A gun-wielding Brody causes a panic at the beach and fires into the water, but the suspected killer shark turns out to be just a harmless school of fish.
