Phoo Action is an offbeat comedy drama featuring the teenage anarchist daughter of the police chief and a buddhist kung-fu cop from Hong Kong fighting crime in the near future.

Phoo Action, Being Human, Mrs In-Betweeny, West 10 LDN, The Things I Haven't Told You, and Dis/Connected were six drama pilots commissioned by BBC3, one or two of which would be ordered to series. However, Phoo Action was already picked up for a full series before the pilot had aired.[1]
