Plot Overview
A woman who is 'owned' by the Mob is accused of killing her gangster boyfriend, a brutal man with whom she wanted to break it off, and also a man marked for death. The D.A. believes that she was hired to carry out a hit on him, but Petrocelli believes his client's version of the story--that she may have killed him in self-defense. When it's discovered that some of her jewels are missing from a safe in her apartment, Tony rightfully believes that there was a cat burglar present and that he may have witnessed the events, but when they find him, he refuses to be an informant. Pete, however, finds two other tenants of the apartment who make equally good witnesses.
