Plot Overview
While Gunn and Jacoby extend their stay in Acapulco, due to Jacoby's severe sunburn that makes it hard for him to travel, their new friend Lt. Vasquez hires Pete to look into a situation. The hell-raising son of a U.S. diplomat has been shot by an assassin. Pete goes to visit the boy, but he is reluctant to reveal who the would-be killer is. In his investigation, Pete discovers that quite a few people, from his mother, who was crippled in an accident he caused, on down to a gangster he owed a huge gambling debt to, had it in for the young man.
