Partridge Family: 2200 A.D.
It was basically an extension of the ABC sitcom The Partridge Family, which had just ended its run, fused with The Jetsons as it put the musical family in the tail end of the 22nd century. Three new characters were added: Marion (a space case neighbor), Veenie, and Danny's robot dog Orbit.
All cast members from the live action show except for Shirley Jones and David Cassidy reprised their roles in voices, and Shirley Partridge was now Connie Partridge. A year earlier, Danny Bonaduce, Suzanne Crough, Brian Forster and Susan Dey lent voices to their characters on ABC's Goober and the Ghost Chasers. In 1977, the show was renamed Partridge Family In Outer Space and became a revolving feature of the syndicated anthology Fred Flintstone and Friends.
Hanna-Barbera Productions produced the series. Due to this show's ties to The Partridge Family, Sony Pictures Television owns and distributes Partridge Family: 2200 A.D., with its copyright held by SPT's animation division Adelaide Productions.
