Over the Garden Wall is Cartoon Network's first miniseries, adapted from Patrick McHale's animated short Tomb of the Unknown, which was developed at Cartoon Network Studios as part of their animated short development initiative.
The mini-series follows brothers Wirt and Greg who become lost in a strange forest called the Unknown. In order for them to find their way home, they must travel through the forest, adrift in time, enlisting the help of the wise, elderly Woodsman and Beatrice, an irritable bluebird.
