Plot Overview

Christian Troy and Quentin Costa get the opportunity to perform a face transplant, which has never been completed successfully before.

Christian grows concerned over Quentin's drug use.

Sean grows closer to the woman whose face he remade for the witness protection program (played by Anne Heche), and considers joining her in the program.

Christian turns down a woman who wants surgery to look more like his fiancée Kimber Henry.

Christian issues an ultimatum to Kimber: get out of the porn business, or lose him.

Christian is convinced Quentin is high as they remove the face from the donor. Sean mistakes a gay man's come-on for surveillance by the mob, and demonstrates his inability to control his rage by knocking the man out. Kimber agrees to leave the porn business if Christian will agree to give up other women (she allows for threesomes). Sean agonizes over which family to give up: his old family, or the new one he has with his witness protection woman. She makes the decision for him by leaving while he's away; she leaves him a note saying it's better that way. The face transplant at first looks like a success, but ends up failing, and the show ends with the surgeons removing the facial tissue.
