Night Stalker, a remake of the 1974 series Kolchak: The Night Stalker, centers around crime reporter Carl Kolchak and his partner Perri Reed, reporters at a Los Angeles newspaper known as The Beacon. Together, Kolchak and Reed investigate a string of bizarre murders which may or may not be related to the death of Kolchak's wife, a murder in which Kolchak is considered to be the prime suspect.

The show was cancelled after six episodes. All ten aired on UK channel Bravo TV.
