The feature in this episode is made up of segments from four episodes of the television show "Captain Scarlet and the Mysterions" - a television show done with marionettes in the style of "Thunderbirds." In this series, aliens from Mars have declared war upon Earth. Spectrum is the name of the organization created to stop them, and Captain Scarlet is the top officer officer in it.

• The first two episodes of MST3K premiered back to back on November 24, 1988.
• The only footage of this episode comes from compilation tapes produced by Best Brains Inc. Show producer Jim Mallon is the only one known to have a copy of this episode.
