While playing catch with God in the park, Orel befriends a stray dog. Bloberta allows Orel to keep it, and after a while, the two grow very attached. Orel becomes worried that he's loving his dog Bartholomew more than Jesus, and soon Bartholomew spreads enough love around Moralton that convince the adults that he is a danger.
