[edit] Plot Overview
While taking Orel to a Chinese restaurant on the outskirts of Moralton, Clay teaches Orel that God wanted people of different races separated from each other. After a sermon from Rev. Putty regarding how some people were made in God's image (namely white Anglo-Saxon Protestants), Orel begins segregating the people who weren't made in God's image, aka the Italian Figurelli family, from the mostly caucasian Moralton community. However, unlike discriminations of the past, this makes it inconvenient for the white citizens of Moralton, and much more convenient for the "figgurs."

- Clay: The last thing we want is people to think that we don't care about our own kids. That's one fact that is none of their business.
