Moby Dick and the Mighty Mightor was an animated adventure that aired on CBS.
Herman Melville's titular sea mammal is presented here as a protector of two boys who are lost at sea. The boys, Moby and their pet seal Scooby team together to ward off evil doers. The Mighty Mightor is a prehistoric superhero who starts off as an ordinary teenage boy named Tor. A strange man gives Tor a magic club for saving his life and the club turns him into Mightor. A pint-size Mightor wannabe, Li'l Rok, tags along.
In 2002, Mightor would become a judge on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim feature Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law. In 2012, Tom, Tubb, Scooby and Moby (reimagined as a submarine) appeared in episode 37 of Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated.
