Million Dollar Money Drop is a game show that aired on FOX. The debut episode was two hours long; the remaining shows were an hour.
Couples must guess and second guess multiple choice answers in winning the big prize. Up front they are presented with $1 million in cash, sorted out in wrapped bundles of $20,000 each. How much they end up with depends on how well they play. The couple must run a table of seven questions, the first three of which have four possible answers. In each of the first four, they have sixty seconds to place all of the money on a platform corresponding to the answer they believe is correct. They must leave at least one platform empty. After they are finished, a wrong answer is eliminated with the platform opening into a chute and any money placed on that platform goes down the chute. Whatever money they still have they can now confer to put all or any more of it on what they believe is the right answer and they have thirty seconds to do so. Any money still in play carries over to the next question.
After question three, the couple is now given three possible answers and they have 75 seconds to place their money on what they believe is the right answer. On the seventh question, they must place all their money on that answer. If correct, they win that money.
