Biography

Melissa Gilbert was born in 1964 and adopted by Paul and Barbra Gilbert. In 1974, Melissa started starring in Little House on the Prairie. The following year Paul Gilbert died. Her mother married Harold Abeles and they had a daughter together, the future actress Sara Gilbert.
