Plot Overview
A young man stands accused of killing his brutal father. Matlock's certain that the boy was defending his mother, whom the father threatened to kill, but when he has two differing accounts of the night before the killing (one from the boy, the other from the father's best friend), he has to persuade the boy's paternal grandmother, who lives with them, to give her version of the story.
