Along with four hours a day of voice training and three hours of dance lessons comes one of the many perks enjoyed by boy band stars...girls. The guys with girlfriends are challenged with how to deal with their new female fans.
Ikaika becomes increasingly more homesick for Hawaii and his girlfriend as he distances himself from the other seven guys, who don't seem to be having any trouble adapting to their new social lives.
Marc, the Otown road manager, finds Ikaika sitting alone in the parking lot after rehearsal. He tries to help Ikaika move his focus away from his loneliness towards the positive aspects of this experience, such as the opportunity to grow and learn new things.
