Lou performs the difficult task of announcing the names of the eight finalists. Tears of happiness and disappointment are shared among the winners and losers. However, every person in the room is grateful for the extraordinary experience and looks forward to lifelong friendships with one another.
The eight finalists say goodbye to their friends, families, and girlfriends and are off to Orlando for more voice and dance training in the studio. The reality of their fortune begins to set in as the guys are picked up in a stretch limo by Lou and taken to their spacious Orlando home that they will share with each other during the training period.
The guys quickly learn that they are easily replaceable as they receive a stern lecture from their voice coach after showing up two hours late for their first studio session.
