Plot Overview
A break-in at a neighborhood pawn shop occurs at the same time as the murder of Patrolman Morolo. The thief is caught, but insists that he saw no cop at the scene, nor did he kill him. After Ballinger determines that he's telling the truth, he checks into several local thugs, all of whom having a motive for wanting the cop killed.
