Plot Overview
A young lady shows up at the house of the woman who adopted her baby, claiming that the baby is hers. The adoptive mother is a friend of Ballinger's, who agrees to look into the matter, but what he discovers is that his friends didn't file proper adoption papers in court and went through private channels. He then suspects the woman who arranged the adoption committed forgery and that the young couple who wants the baby back are committing extortion.
