Logan's Run was based on the successful film of the same name. In the film, Michael York played Logan and Jenny Agutter played Jessica.
In the movie, Logan and Jessica return to the city and convince the other people that it is safe to go outside, thus bringing the film to a natural conclusion.
The Sandcars used in the series, were later used in another series, Otherworld, again as vehicles of the enemy.
