Live Championship Wrestling was an American professional wrestling program which aired in local syndication in Charlotte, North Carolina. It was one of several locally-produced and aired programs produced and distributed prior to 1973 by National Wrestling Alliance member Jim Crockett Promotions. It was produced at the studios of WBTV in Charlotte. It ended production in 1973 when JCP began consolidating its TV tapings into one program, Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling, produced at WRAL-TV in Raleigh, North Carolina.
The JCP/WCW program archive, including Live Championship Wrestling, was purchased by World Wrestling Entertainment in 2001 following the demise of WCW, and is currently part of its WWE Libraries division.
