Plot Overview
Amy presides over the case of a young girl charged with shoplifting whose attorney is famous and is still coping with David leaving town; after a new "zero tolerance" policy for child abuse is enforced, Maxine is frustrated over removing two brothers from the custody of their mother over a spanking incident; after his father's death, Kyle decides to quit his job as a doctor.
