Plot Overview
Amy suffers a miscarriage on her 40th birthday and while grieving at the beach & a bar, she meets a stranger who gives the much needed perspective that she needs during a difficult time; Donna appears in Amy's courtroom representing a 13-year-old girl who accidentally killed her best friend while joyriding who doesn't seem to show any signs of remorse; meanwhile, Maxine tries to determine whether two brothers are better off without their ex-con father in their lives.
