Plot Overview
Amy and Lauren are still feeling miserable living in their apartment; Amy hears the case of a young mother who locked her two children in the trunk of a car while she was at work and is upset when Michael decides to file for full custody of Lauren; Maxine ends her medical leave from work after her dentist asks her to investigate the possible abuse of a teenage girl and is surprised when Jared returns & proposes to her; Bruce pleads no contest on his assault charge and is given a suspended sentence, but he ends up getting fired from his job.
