Plot Overview

Lauren is not happy to hear that Amy is pregnant with David's baby; Amy presides over the case of a troubled boy with reactive attachment disorder whose parents want to give up custody of him; Vincent encourages a teenage runaway to write a better essay about himself in order to get accepted into a halfway house; Maxine learns that an 8-year-old boy is being used as a drug mule by his foster brother; meanwhile, Peter becomes concerned about his relationship with Gillian when it becomes constantly sexual.
