Journey to the Center of the Earth is an animated adventure series that aired on ABC. It is loosely based on the novel by Jules Verne.
The series follows Prof. Oliver Lindenbrook, his niece Cindy, his compadres Alec and Lars and Gertrude the duck as they venture into the Earth's core, where they find their enemy Count Saccnusson who is out to build an underground kingdom for himself.
