Icons is a documentary program airing on G4. It was originally part of G4's lineup of video-game-related programming and focused on the history of notable video games, franchises, hardware, and creators. When G4 switched its programming to a more male-oriented lifestyle format, Icons was retooled to focus more on pop cultural and subcultural topics. The original video game-oriented episodes have been rebranded as Game Makers.
