Plot Overview
The Pinders believe Hunter to be responsible for Mrs. Pinder's murder and plan to exact revenge. Meanwhile, Hunter and Molenski begin their search for the Romanian hitman responsible for both Mrs. Pinder's murder, as well as Sgt. Saccio's. The hitman, in turn, is pursuing the surviving Pinders, searching for the wallet stolen during the diner robbery. After he takes care of the last of the Pinders and regains the wallet with the safe deposit codes, the two detectives must prevent him from leaving the country with $400,000. While all of this is going on, Captain Devane is offered the job he was seeking, the Captain's job at Metro Division, and leaves Homicide. He persuades Hunter to take a newly opened Sergeant position in the Metro unit.
