Plot Overview
A Native American immortal friend of Duncan's, who has the ability to drain the evil out of people, is finally consumed by the very evil he's taken away in a rare phenomenon known as a dark quickening. Duncan tries to find a way to purge his friend of the evil without having to take his head and risk receiving a dark quickening himself.
