One Minute to Midnight is the first episode of the fifth season of Highlander, and the eighty-seventh episode overall.

The episode is actually a Season 4 episode, as this is how it aired in Europe and released as the finale on DVD. However, for the U.S. airings, it was postponed to air as the Season 5 premiere.

Plot Overview

The Watchers dedicate their manpower to hunting down Duncan and Joe, believing they orchestrated the massacre. Duncan soon finds the perpetrator is an old friend whose wife was killed by the rouge Watchers led by Horton. Duncan and Joe try to talk to their respective friends to get them to cease the cycle of revenge.
