- It's five years after Sylar exploded and devastated New York City. Hiro Nakamura stabbed Sylar before he exploded, but because he had killed Claire Bennet, he regenerated. People with abilities are feared, hated, and hunted down. Hiro Nakamura has decided to try and change what happened. After careful analysis of time timelines, he determined the crucial point. He went to the past to tell Peter Petrelli to save the cheerleader, but when he returned to his own time, he found that on first glance, nothing had changed. He returned to his loft, andgry that five years of work was for nothing, and discovered a past version of himself, along with Ando Masahashi in his loft.
