Heil Honey I'm Home! is a British sitcom that aired on Galaxy. The series is infamous for its premise of having Adolf Hitler and Eva Braun living next door to a Jewish couple.
However, this is a bit misleading, as the show, framed as a lost sitcom, itself was a parody of absurd American sitcoms produced between the 1950s and '70s. This is reflected in the main characters speaking with Brooklyn accents and the post-pilot episodes having a title sequence similar to Bewitched. It also attempted to examine the appeasement of Hitler in 1938.
Regardless of its intent, the controversy led to the series being cancelled after airing only one episode, with 8 recorded in total (and 11 overall planned). While the pilot can easily be found online, the subsequent seven episodes have yet to surface outside a sparse few clips.
In recent years, the show has been compared to That's My Bush!, an American comedy that aired just over a decade later that also attempted to spoof sitcoms.
