Plot Overview

Trish and her dad went out bike riding when Trish sees Gigi running loose. They followed the little dog when the bike tire ran over a trip wire releasing the swinging log hitting Trish and Thomas' bikes and sending them tumbling down the hill, knocked out cold. With their bikes ruined and Trish's cell phone damaged, they had to make a long walk. Madison Allen, the youngest of the wedding guests helps J.D. play with firecrackers. They set the firecrackers off and ran off only to be noticed by Henry. Trish and Thomas discuss about Henry when Thomas explained that he doesn't trust him. This prompted Trish to reveal to him that his wife Katherine was cheating on him with Richard. The hotel manager, Maggie Krell informs Henry that she couldn't reach Reverend Fain. Henry goes over to the church and discovers a disemboweled raccoon on the altar. Still walking in the woods, Trish and Thomas notices a male figure far away. As they asked for the phone, the man released his German Sheppard dog to chase them. Trish and Thomas ran for the truck and hid themselves from an attacking dog. Henry gets help from the sheriff to remove the dead raccoon. Henry notices a leftover firecracker on the floor. Thomas and Trish manage to escape unharmed after Thomas killed the dog with a glass bottle. Abby goes to her old house and goes into the attic and sees her mother's autopsy photos and the articles of the Wakefield murders. She then sees a cabinet and opens it to discover several articles about a Wakefield copycat that happened in between the 2001 murders and the recent days. Henry suspects J.D. of placing a dead raccoon on the altar of the church and confronts him in his room. The sheriff and his deputy Patrick Lillis investigate the reverend's disappearance. The wedding rehearsal takes place at the church. Maggie informs the party that she will be conducting the rehearsal. During the rehearsal, the sheriff and the deputy sees a fish line near the pond. The sheriff pulls the line and pulls out the reverend's body parts. Thomas was asked to light the unity candle and Maggie tells Abby to switch off the lights. But when Abby does so, the chandelier made strange sounds. As the wedding guests look up, they notice a head spade rigged on it. The spade was released and plummeted onto Thomas nearly slicing him in half, killing him with a single thwack. 8 down, several more to go. After that unexpected turn, is the wedding going to be postponed? Who is the Wakefield copycat? Who was the guy with a half-burned face? What surprise does J.D. have for Henry? Will Trish expose Richard of having an affair, and will she tell her sister, Shea Allen about it? Find out on the next Harper's Island.
