Hannibal — Season Two

Yakimono is the seventh episode of the second season of Hannibal, and the twentieth episode overall.

Plot Overview

Crawford has two of his people returned to him. Evidence has exonerated Will and is released from the Baltimore State Hospital for the Criminally Insane, but hasn't surrendered his belief about Hannibal. Miriam Lass has been found, but unfortunately, has a hazy recollection of events and fails to ID Hannibal as the Chesapeake Ripper.

Happenings

• Will is released from the Baltimore State Hospital for the Criminally Insane.

• Gideon is found, now with all his limbs missing, but dies moments after Chilton discovers him.

Characters

• Hannibal frames Chilton as the Chesapeake Ripper, effectively retiring under this killer persona.

• Miriam Lass is triggered by Chilton's voice and shoots him. They're status after this is presently unknown.

• Will initially confronts Hannibal in his kitchen, pointing a gun at him. He later chooses to resume his therapy.

Memorable Moments

• Believing him to be the Chesapeake Ripper, Miriam grabs Jack's gun and shoots Chilton, the bullet passing through his face and out the back of his head.
