Plot Overview

The Skipper sleepwalks one night, and awakens Gilligan. The Skipper dreams that he is back at Guadalcanal.Gilligan observes closely. The Skipper is trying to convert a Radio into a Transmitter, using Gilligans fingers as a screwdriver, and wirecutters. He sees in his sleepwalk state a bomb that is dropped, and Gilligan reacting as if it is real jumps into the Lagoon. The Skipper sleepwalks back to the Hut,and into his Hammock.Gilligan comes in soon after standing over the Skipper dripping wet.The drops of water awakens the Skipper, who seeing Gilligan dripping wet wants to know why he is wet.Gilligan tells him about the dibombers, and Radio fixing. The Skipper does not recall. He corrects Gilligan saying that he was the one sleepwalking, and falling into the Lagoon had woken him up.Gilligan accepts this explanation. However,by the next day both men would believe otherwise. The Skipper would recall turning a Radio into a Transmitter during the time he was at Guadalcanal. But,he cannot for the life of him remember the details of how.Thoughout the rest of the episode, the fellow Castaways will help the Skipper to remember including slipping him sleeping pills in his Mango Juice without him knowing about it.The Skipper himself would find the bottle of sleeping pills, and take two himself. The other Castaways wait for the Skipper to walk in his sleep, and recall the instructions on how to make a transmitter. The urgency is vital when they learn that a woman calling herself,The Vagabond Lady will be flying over the Island sometime that evening. The Skipper through hypnosis would relive Guadalcanal, and the Radio transmitter is made. They should be able to contact the Vagabond Lady with this Radio Transmitter. They,or rather Gilligan manages to make Radio contact by banging on the Radio. No wanting to make anymore mistakes Gilligan calls the Skipper to let him know that he has made Radio contact. He demonstrates this by banging ontop the Radio.Only this time whenhe bangs, the back of the Radio falls out, thus losing contact with The Vagabond Lady.Another foiled attempt at being rescued.
