Capt. Troy is actually Boxey all grown up, and going by his birth name, since Boxey was just a nickname. He commands the Galactica’s Blue Squadron, the same job his adopted father, Apollo, held in TOS. Troy leads one of the teams sent to Earth to make contact. His assignment was North America.
