Plot Overview

Our hero stands before an adoring crowd at the start of the episode, a crowd which includes president Bill Clinton, Princess Diana and the Pope. Freakazoid is being commended for saving the world once again, only to accidentally blow it up with the nuclear weapon he reactivated. After the opening sequence, an alien tamed Mo-Ron lands on the planet with a message for all mankind... which can't remember. Without a clear conclusion on what the alien has to say, he's blasted by the military and we move on to another segment.

Lord Bravery is a snobbish Brit who insists on being a superhero, despite the complete lack of superpowers. In this episode, entitled Sewer Rescue, Lord Bravery flies through the city looking for someone to save, to come upon a sewer with a man stuck inside. When Lord Bravery finds that the man is stuck in a sewer, he decides not to go in and get him. But when Lord Bravery lowers the rope, the trapped man pulls him in instead and the two call for Superman.

In the next bit, an alien spacecraft lands by the White House to ask a very important question concerning the entire universe-- What the name of Barbie's little sister is. It's Skipper. The aliens leave, Mo-Ron can't remember what he was supposed to say still and we have a musical interlude where Freakazoid (badly) plays Chopsticks on the piano.

The last segment is The Legends Who Lunch, candid conversations with the superheroes of yesteryear. The elderly heroes discuss Aquaman, The Green & Brown Fog and booby trapped pastrami. At the end of the episode, Mo-Ron finally remembers what his message was. A giant comet is heading to Earth. But it's too late and the auditorium Freakazoid was in is crushed by the comet. The network censor appears a third time to get smashed by an anvil and the very last bit is a mellow bit where the crew says they don't have clips of the next episode because they're on vacation.

  • Freakazoid: Now ladies, ladies, calm down. There's plenty of me for everybody. If not, I'll just have them draw me bigger.
  • Lord Bravery: Most people your age die. Why won't you?
  • Announcer: We interrupt our regularly scheduled program to bring you a special report from the WB network.
Freakazoid: What exactly is the WB? Can someone tell me this? What's it mean, the WB? The water bucket? The wimpy boy? The wet bananas? I don't know what! The weird butt? What? I'm asking!
Announcer: This has been a special report from the Weird Butt Network. We now join Freakazoid, already in progress.
