Plot Overview

After being left for dead, Morgan and the others make their way to a hospital while Alicia changes plans after arriving in the aftermath.

Happenings

• Everyone survives Martha's attack on the truck, but it winds up blowing up, leading them to continue on foot. Morgan decides to get them to a hospital, but it's soon overtaken and they are all forced up to the roof with no way down.

Characters

• The filthy woman is revealed to have been a woman named Martha whose husband died relatively early in outbreak and no one would stop to help. After putting him down, she dug his grave with her bear hands. She then met one of the truckers planting the boxes on the side of the road and killed one after the other, learning about Polar Bear.

• Wendell was paralysed when he was ten to save another kid from being hit by a car. He later tried to register for the marines, but was laughed off, which is what led Sarah to quit the marines.

• Jim is found to have been bitten.

• While the others make their way to the roof, Althea stays behind to start the generator.

• After finding the truck destroyed, Alicia takes Charlie to Galveston to see the beach. They find Dorie's hat by large flood water. They then catch sight of something to make them both smile.
