Plot Overview

On their way to bury Nick, Strand, Alicia, and Luciana volunteer to share their stories to Althea and the regretful decisions they made.

Happenings

• The stadium was lost, but it's still not known what happened.

• Strand, Alicia, and Luciana unearth a cache of weapons they had buried.

• It's revealed there's only about a two week differences between the two timelines.

Characters

• Strand had a stash of provisions in a working car. Keeping Cole at a distance, he finally opened up about who he is and offered for the two of them to leave. Cole refused and left him, only for Strand to return with what he had, not telling Madison about where they came from.

• Alicia and Naomi went on a scouting mission where Naomi tried to leave her behind. From her experience as an ICU nurse, shew knew the stadium won't last, but upon her return she kept this from Madison and instead stayed to set up an infirmary.

• Nick took Luciana into a library. Despite his optimism, she wanted to open a map book and go wherever that is. Instead, she went along with Nick's idea of going further to get seeds and fertiliser to replant the crops.

• Dorie finds his matching gun with Naomi's backpack, revealing she was Laura. According to Alicia, she didn't make it out of the stadium.

• Compelled to get their story, Althea takes Strand, Alicia, and Luciana to where the Vultures are meeting up. Dorie stays behind with Morgan.

• Althea: I don't understand. You stayed at the stadium, you fought for it. Why is that the day everything changed?

Alicia: We should have talked my mom into leaving.

Strand: I should have followed my gut. I should have kept that car secret.

Luciana: We should have flipped to another page. We should have found someplace else to go.

Alicia: But we wanted to believe.

Luciana: We wanted to stay.

Strand: I wanted to be a better person.

Alicia: That's why my brother is dead.

Luciana: That's why Nick is dead.

Strand: That's why my friend is dead.
