From The TV IV

Fastlane is a shortlived FOX drama in which two cops become part of an elite program that brings down crime from the inside. Using a stash of expensive vehicles and weapons, officers Donovan Ray and Deaqon Hayes go undercover to imbed themselves in elite criminal organizations in Los Angeles ranging from Russian Mob gun runners to heroin smugglers. Meanwhile, the two cops persue the man who killed Andre Hayes, Van's former partner and Deaqon's brother.

The series ran for one season before falling victim to the Friday night death slot and being cancelled after its initial run of 22 episodes completed.
