Plot Overview

Andy and Maggie are playing police officers in a production with Samuel L. Jackson. While chatting with Andy Maggie interrupts to flirt with an actor off the set. At the catering table Andy is accosted by another extra who's clearly looking for a friend, but tells really depressing stories. After he helped Andy get some lines he asks Andy to take him out one night. After lying to him about visiting his mother's grave Andy grudgingly agrees to go out for some food with him, but while eating gets more and more depressed by the situation until he eventually blows his top and sticks his face in his food and leaves. Maggie goes on a date with the actor she likes, but is pre-occupied by the fact that he's black and tries to hide the golliwog doll on her shelf making him end the date early. The next day in trying to repair the damage she'd done she manages to come off worse when trying to tell Samuel L. Jackson that he was in the Matrix when he wasn't, and Andy trying to come to the rescue only made it worse. After this painful conversation they both get asked to leave the set, Andy missing out on lines yet again.
