Origin USA

Exposure was a science fiction anthology program on the Sci Fi Channel that showcased short films from (mostly) up-and-coming filmmakers. Each episode consisted of a collection of short films revolving around a particular theme. The films were not created toward the theme; rather the themes were conceived to tie the episode together. Occasionally Exposure used live-action or animated hosts; the most famous of these was filmmaker Kevin Smith for the Star Wars-themed episode.

The Sci Fi Channel also held an annual event known as Exposurefest to promote the show. The first such event in 2000 consisted of multiple film and television tracks, spotlighting not only past and upcoming Exposure short films, but cult cinema, television programs, and music videos. The next (and last) event only consisted of one track showcasing films.

The films of Exposure were available on the official website shortly after their episodes aired, and remained online until the website was shut down.
