Even Stevens is a family sitcom revolving around the Stevens family, particularly middle schooler Louis Stevens and his schemes to generally annoy his perfectionist older sister, Ren.
Although it was a sitcom geared towards family audiences, it oddly didn't have a laugh track or a live studio audience. This technique is generally held for more adult sitcoms like Arrested Development and is nearly unheard of in programs watched by children. The series grew into one of Disney's most popular shows, but it was cut short on June 2, 2003 as per Disney's 65 episode policy.
