Encyclopedia was a children's program on HBO co-produced with Children's Television Workshop, the creators of Sesame Street. Each episode chose one letter, and then featured comedy skits and informative segments centering around objects beginning with that letter. The episode about the letter G might feature glass, gladiators, and gondolas; the H episode might feature heiroglyphics, horses, or Halloween.
Episode 'A'
One segment featured Attila the Hun, who 'died of overeating.'
Episode 'B'
One segment featured a performer trying to stuff Bagpipes into a bag and another explaining blood. There was a song about 'Bones' in this episode as well.
Episode 'P'
One segment featured the Leaning Tower of Pisa.
Episode 'V'
There was a song about 'Vertigo' in this episode.
