Plot Overview

Lucy does whatever it takes to help a young woman with cardiomyopathy get a heart transplant; Corday's patient, Dean Rollins is in need of surgery for a blood clot in his leg, but he refuses to have Corday operate on him; Carol brings her twin daughters to the ER when one of them comes down with a fever; Finch tries to get a teenage alcoholic into a treatment program; after Carter gives a gang member a Game Boy in exchange for his gun, it prompts other gang members to ask him for presents in exchange for their guns; Benton treats a man who refuses to undergo surgery after he claims that he had a hallucination of his deceased wife; he also learns that Carla won't be moving to Germany after all; Weaver deals with a group of ill Santas and one of them helps her with a glitch on the hospital's computer.
